The advisory and programme delivery division delivers services to projects ranging in scale and complexity from £million's to £20bn, through the technical disciplines of programme management, project management, project controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, infrastructure finance, management consulting, digital consulting, education and healthcare management.

As the senior construction manager your responsibilities will include;
- Ensure field construction activities are performed in conformance with quality requirements and safety standards, project drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, and procedures
- Control project schedule through the efficient use of all construction resources
- Monitor and ensure compliance with their appointment of any technical supervision consultant
- Ensure contractor adheres to and complies with project protocols and procedures, RFIT's, FCR's NCR's
- Implement site supervision, quality assurance and control procedures and documentation
- Determine manpower levels to ensure schedule milestones are achieved and monitor manpower levels and trade mixes of the contractor and supervision consultant to ensure conformance with the construction schedule
- Schedules major construction inspections to ensure contractual compliance with plans, specifications, materials, schedules, workmanship and safety standards.
- Monitors productivity and implements appropriate action to ensure Contractor maintains maximum labour productivity
- Controls change/scope creep, ensuring that all scope changes are quickly and properly documented and that and field change orders are approved prior to performing work
- Participates in negotiating claims and proposed change orders and associated costs, resolving field and contractual differences, and processing scheduled progress payments.
- Implements the site safety and security procedures and project work rules
- Manages the contractual commitments of contractors, including cost, quality, and schedule and coordinates their field activities
- Maintains quality of all work in accordance with the standards as specified in the design documents
- Ensure Contractor maintains effective construction equipment use, maintenance program and effectively plans supply and control of tools and supplies.

Requirements

- MCIOB or be able to demonstrate equivalent capability with post qualification experience in a construction company or consultancy environment
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Previous experience in delivery of large scale, super high rise developments
- Experience of working on reinforced concrete and structural steel framed structures
- Previous experience of leading and managing site supervision teams of varying size
- Good knowledge of program management, process and scheduling
- Extensive experience in a 'hands on' Construction Supervision role
- Fluent in English (with ability to speak Russian preferable)
