Business Unit Head

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading and highly successful pharmaceutical business. They are currently looking for a Business Unit Head for their Kuwait branch.

The Business Unit Head is the most senior in country representative for the business and will have full responsibility for the sales and marketing of the company’s products in Kuwait. The role will report into the regional headquarters based in Dubai however the candidate will have full commercial responsibility therefore having experience in managing P&Ls, sales teams, regulatory teams, tender teams etc is essential. To be considered candidates are required to have extensive experience of the pharmaceutical industry in the Middle East and ideally from within Kuwait itself.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Middle East
• Relevant science degree
• English and Arabic fluency
• Experience in handling P&Ls, sales forecasting and reporting
• Experience in managing and motivating teams
• Candidate must be already based in Kuwait and have an excellent knowledge of the local pharmaceutical market from a sales and marketing perspective
