Category Specialist - Starbucks - Kuwait

As a Category Specialist for Starbucks, you will support the team by developing and implementing current/future activities and projects and working towards the business strategies and actions in accordance with brand guiding principles.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Assisting the Category Manager with implementation of the category plan, including promotional planning, new products introductions, forecasting, pricing, in-store merchandising, execution and communication, and performance analysis
* Supporting the Category Manager in the creation and management of set business reports which will analyse category performance, and making decisions accordingly
* Developing strategic and operational plans, managing their execution, and measuring the results
* Networking with teams in Operations and in other areas to facilitate efficient communication
* Creating a close ongoing communication line with SCO to deliver each product line's plan, from product sourcing and regulatory processes, to store implementation and exit plans
* Visiting stores weekly to support implementation and obtain partners' feedback
* Following up on communication from EMEA and SCI and sharing communication internally.

Requirements

* Good understanding of Selling Price and Margin analysis
* Highly proficient in Excel and Power Point
* Strong Planning and project management skills
* Excellent Analytical skills.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in Trend Analysis, Forecasting and Food and Beverages (short shelf life products).
