Corporate Trainer

Job description / Role

• Responsible for designing quality professional training materials including workbooks, training aids, audio and visual support materials, instructor guides and assessments to meet the expectations of the clients
• Customize, review and develop existing internal and external training programs to meet specific client needs.
• Prepare training materials and content to ensure effective delivery.
• Provide high quality delivery of training sessions, programs and events.
• Design, develop and administer appropriate assessment tools to determine the transfer of learning within a program or course.
• Maintain appropriate records as directed.
• Consult,Liaise and provide L&D advice to clients and ACK CT staff as required.
• Promote ACK CT programs within the corporate community and refer potential leads to the Manager: Learning & Development.
• Proactively seek to support other team members to ensure qualitytargets and deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Master degree in Business/ Marketing/HR
• Minimum experience of 5 years in Learning & Development, Industry Training or Competency Based training
• Certificate IV TAE or equivalent(or prepared to commit to completing the qualification within 12 months)

About the Company

The Australian College of Kuwait has been established under Kuwait Law 34/2000, governing private universities in Kuwait, to provide internationally recognized and accredited education and training to the Business, Engineering, and Maritime sectors. It was licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education under Amiri Decree 141/2003 and commenced operation in October 2004.

The Private Universities Council (PUC) oversees the operation of ACK from the governments perspective and has accredited the College to operate as a provider of higher education courses. Initially offering two-year diploma courses, ACK now has PUC approval to offer degree programs as well. A 2+2 course is available whereby students obtain their diploma in two years and can then continue, if they wish, to study for a further two years to obtain their degree. This arrangement is unique in Kuwait.
