Demand Planning, Forecast and Catalogue Manager

DLA Troop Support Subsistence Directorate provides full line food distribution service in the IJKS countries. DLA are proud to support the warfighter and federal partners with quality, nutritious foods to meet a variety of demands.

Duties:
- Follow the DLA Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) guidance on demand planning and forecasting guidance experience
- Predictable Analytics, demand planning and forecasting analysis driven by both histirical customer demand and Seasonality supply chain
- Weekly inventory replenishment recommendations to purchasing team, and justification analysis for management prior approval
- Measure and predict supply chain length Supply Chain critical points and align with Program KPI's.
- Responsible for pipeline management and for Supply Chain Fitness reporting internally and externally to customer on weekly basis
- Serves as the Supply Chain Fitness process owner and subject matter expert (SME)
- Serves as the Catalogue process owner and SME. Ensures monthly catalogue approval and submission to customer.
- Oversees the Inventory Management & Optimization between multiple distribution centers.
- Plans Product Shelf-Life Expiration Management to ensure full optimization in coordination with sourcing and customer service team. Works with suppliers to obtain shelf life extension approvals and obtains approvals from US Military VETCOM.
- Collaborates with the Customer Services Manager to identify alternative products for additions to catalogue. Identify slow movers and develop joint strategy with customer service team to deplete stock based on normal demand including promotions.
- Uses metrics to analyze service delivery solutioning
- Tracks and catalogues service delivery solutioning methodology

Requirements

Experience
- At least two demand planning and forecasting guidance experience, preferably in a food service or hospitality environment.
- DLA Demand planning and forecasting experience
- University Diploma or equivalent
