Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To provide Research, Financial Analysis, and Reporting Support for existing Investment Products and to assist in the development and execution of New Investment Products in both the US and Europe.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy:

• Assist US Team in Analysing and Evaluating New Investment Opportunities and Key Business Decisions.
• Assist US Team in the identification and development of New International Real Estate Investment Products.

Leadership:

• Manage the effective achievement of departmental objectives through the leadership of the department and the setting of individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximise departmental performance.

Organisation Structure:

• Support in the development of the department organisation structure in order to ensure alignment with strategy and objectives.

Budgets and Plans:

• Recommend the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget in order for the business to be aware of anticipated costs/revenues.

International Real Estate:

• Prepare investment memorandums and make recommendations for real estate acquisitions / projects.
• Prepare IAC and board memos, coordinating approvals for key decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly (and other) reports to clients.
• Respond to client inquiries and meet with clients on a regular basis.
• Assist in the analysis of budgets for each investment product.
• Conduct research and prepare internal market studies.
• Identify potential partners for new investment products.
• Evaluate the suitability of projects and investment products marketed by third-party investment managers.
• Assist in the structuring of new investment products.
• Manage team involved in providing research, financial analysis, reporting and product development support to USA Team.

Change Management:

• Support the management of change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international leading practices.

Systems, Policies, Procedures & Reporting:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Corporate Social Responsibility:

• Ensure continuous efforts are exerted to contribute to the social environment of Kuwait society in all areas through CSR inititives.

Related Assignments:

• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 10-20+ years relevant experience, with strong executions experience and exposure across Europe and USA Real Estate markets.
• Bachelors in Economics or equivalent.
• CFA/CAIA a plus
