Employment: Full Time

Work in Kuwait is contingent upon the applicant's ability to obtain a work permit from the State of Kuwait, which is requested on the applicant's behalf by their employer. Effective January 1, 2021, the Kuwait Public Authority of Manpower issued new work permit regulations, informing contractors that it will not issue a work permit to any individual who is fifty-nine (59) years or older and holds a high school grade certificate or less. A bachelor's degree or higher is required for all candidates fifty-nine (59) years or older. See Administrative Decision No. (520) of 2020 AD - Amendment to the Administrative Decision No. (552) of 2018 on Issuing the Work Permit Regulations. Candidates with a current Visa 18 (residency visa) are excluded from the education requirement.

Purpose: Primary training lead for Maintenance, Supply, and Property Book management operations within the Logistics Information Systems LMP, GCSS-A, AESIP, AWRDS and TC-AIMS. The Logistics Information Systems Trainer is responsible for operational planning and synchronization by providing training, testing, and certify personnel in the appropriate STAMIS System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training of APS-5 Kuwait contractor personnel in Logistics STAMIS Systems.
- Conduct, facilitate and lead training presentations, focusing primarily on accountability operations and related subjects.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training/course presentations.
- Develop and revise courses, using instructional system design & development (ISD) methodology.
- Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods and utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness.
- Develop and select training aids, such as multimedia visual aids, and training handbooks.
- Test students to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of such training.
- Investigate new technologies and techniques for potential benefit for new trainer acquisition.
- Maintain a record(s) of required certification(s) and status of each employee as well as providing over-the-shoulder training.
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education:
- High School diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required.

Experience:
- Must have a minimum of six (6) years' experience providing logistics support for major systems. A minimum of four (4) years Maintenance, Supply, or Army property book accounting experience, of which a minimum of two (2) years automated experience using the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), is required.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Emphasis in education of adult teaching and learning technologies.
- The Logistics Information System Trainer must have requisite experience in GCSS-A managing Army assets (requisitioning, receiving, reconciliation and stock control) to provide training to subordinate personnel.
- The Logistics Information System Trainer will be required to train personnel in both maintenance and supply activities (stratifications, trend analysis, data integrity, conducting location surveys, developing stock record accounts, conducting reconciliation processes).
- Functional experience in Army logistics information systems including the Force and Asset Search Tool (FAAST), Force Management System Web Site (FMSWeb), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Logistics Data Analysis Tool (LogDAT) must be demonstrated.
- Must have knowledge base that is recognized as _expert_ level in area of training USG STAMIS system(s).
- Requires the ability to operate application software including but limited to word-processing, spreadsheet and powerpoint programs.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Position may require travel.

Certification, License & Clearance:
- GCSS-Army certification required.
- LMP Certification preferred.
- Secret Clearance is required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.

Active Clearance is required : Must have an active Tier 3 Secret U.S. Government clearance.

Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Tier 3 Secret clearance.

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:
- Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
