Charterhouse is working with a regional conglomerate, who specialize in turnkey solutions of large-scale building developments, civil engineering and infrastructure projects for the private and public sector in Kuwait and Regionally.
Our client is looking to recruit a proven Maintenance and Operations Manager who will oversee its Building Transportation System vertical, providing full technical and contractual support to its lift, elevators and escalators, within the real estate portfolio.
This management role will execute the overall maintenance and installation of elevators, escalator and lift contracts on time and within budget, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. The Maintenance and Operations Manager will finalize contracts programs, maintenance planning and operational planning, which is consistent with the divisions overall strategy, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
In conjunction, the role will lead and motivate the staff within the department to achieve maximum contribution to the company’s overall objectives, promoting employee development. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will have overall control of operating budgets, controlling all instillation, testing and maintenance of the Elevators and Escalators within the group.
Requirements
Our client is looking to recruit a Maintenance and Operations Manager with a minimum of 10 years professional experience, 6 of which should be in a managerial position, specific to building transportation systems. You will have an engineering Degree from an internationally recognized university, with a strong administrative background, in Industrial Operations and Management Systems.
The role will require the candidate to be ideally Arabic speaking, and have demonstrable experience of supervising, training and motivating large teams of technical engineers, ensuring high levels of safety and quality.
