Payroll Officer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Officer to join our team in Kuwait. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining payroll records, and addressing any payroll-related inquiries from employees.

Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for employees using the designated payroll software
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations in Kuwait
- Maintain payroll records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes
- Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees
- Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll processing
- Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and make necessary adjustments to payroll processes

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, laws, and regulations in Kuwait
- Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing payroll records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to address employee inquiries
- Ability to work collaboratively with finance and HR teams
- Certification in Payroll Management or similar field is a plus
