Platform / Deputy Program Manager

DLA Troop Support Subsistence Directorate provides full line food distribution service in the IJKS countries. DLA are proud to support the warfighter and federal partners with quality, nutritious foods to meet a variety of demands.
- Follow the DLA Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) responsible for managing Amentum central distribution platform in Kuwait, and ensures high quality warehouse and storage procedures are in place at all times
- Manage Amentum's distribution to customers located in Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan and Syria via standard and non standard distribution (Security convoy or airlift operations to customers in Iraq and Syria).
- Ensures facility is at all times approved by US Military VETCOM for storage of food destined for US Military consumption.
- Work proactively with customer service team, sourcing, and demand planning team to ensure high customer satisfaction and 98% fill rate on orders.
- Work in tendem with catalogue and demand planning manager and with customer service to develop alternate solutions for different LMR items
- Experience with Port Handling approvals for facilities
- Utilize Distribution optimization to ensure that costs remain low and food storage and refrigeration use are at the predetermined and optimal levels
- Oversee the performance of warehouse operator and transportation subcontractors including airlift provider.

Requirements

Experience
- Program management experience and leadership skills leading teams across different functions within end-to-end supply chain operations
- Experience with management of multiple food warehouses or distribution centers
- Supply Chain, Transportation and Distribution optimization experience
- Client Management
- Experience with TRANSCOM career agreements, management of Hot containers, and claim resolution process
