Our client, who is one of the leading consultancies in the GCC, requires a Senior Structural Engineer to join them on a permanent basis out in Kuwait to work on the design process for a number of exciting projects including a hotel and a commercial build, with a view to an immediate start and potential progression within the company.

The successful candidate will be expected to design structures for various projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, quality requirements and contract obligations.

Duties
* The Senior Structural Engineer will ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards, laws and regulations; assist HoS in establishing section policies/procedures
* Develop a thorough understanding of owner/client design requirements prior to commencement; coordinate with HoS, architects & engineers for further classification
* Determine required structural component/material quality based on designs
* Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to draftsmen and less experienced structural engineers

Requirements

* Minimum 10 years' experience in design and supervision on a construction field
* Working knowledge of CAD, ETABS, SAFE, REVIT software
* Must have Bachelor's Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
* Knowledge of international standards and codes

Whilst the ideal candidate would be immediately available, this is not essential.
