POSITION SUMMARY

Amentum is seeking a Site Manager for a position performing ISS (Installation Support Services) functions at Ali Al Salem base in Kuwait. The Site Manager has overall responsibility for cost, schedule and technical performance of the operation. Accountable for production, supply, production control/planning and quality management aspects of operation. Acts as primary point of contact for customers at the work site level.

The Site Manager shall be available within 12 hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel to discuss problem areas.

BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY

Provides direction and leadership to assigned personnel. Manages and coordinates research and investigations into business problems. Provides guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects. Provides senior technical support to customers. Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
- The SM shall be a US National and shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience related to the requirements and qualifications necessary to manage and perform the tasks outlined in this PWS. The SM is responsible for meeting Contractor's work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control for all tasks associated with this Task Order. The SM shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all Task Order matters relating to daily operation of this Task Order.

- Valid driver's license and passport
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
- Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide

Requirements

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.
- Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement.

EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS

This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
