Responsibilities:
- Main point of contact with the Korean client’s
- Must be familiar with the tax consulting process and the professionalism necessary for the development and implementation of clients' tax needs
- Knowledgeable about the range of services offered by the firm
- Concentrate efforts on a variety of international compliance, research, consulting and planning issues
- Advising Korean companies on the tax implications of their operations in Kuwait and the GCC
- Assist the seniors by making drafts and deliveries of proposals for engagements
- Oversee tax research projects for Korean clients in diverse industries; participate in engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates
- Contribute to the Korean Market business development by conducting researches, analysis of the Tax market in the GCC, and by bringing new clients to the firm
Working Conditions
- Working Hours : 9 hours with a lunch break (8am – 5:30pm)
- Vacations : As per Labor Law
- Insurance : They will be covered by the Company’s Comprehensive Medical Insurance Plan during the period of their employment with the Company and as per the Company’s rules and regulations and policy coverage terms. They will also be covered under the Company’s life and accident insurance schemes
- Retirement Pension : He or she will be entitled to an end of year service.
- Board and Lodging : The firm will handle the relocation by providing the new joiner with a one month accommodation in a hotel or a furnished apartment the first month, and a settling allowance which will be the equivalent of the basic salary.
- Flight Ticket : The firm will arrange the relocation (one way ticket economy class, and one month accommodation upon their arrival). Package also includes an annual flight ticket economy class to the employee, his spouse and up to two kids
- Others : Since the role consist in a business development, then the candidate will have to go to the clients sites. Therefore, the firm will cover the transportation far expenses when the clients will be outside of Kuwait city.
Requirements
- BA or Ma in Accounting or Finance from a reputable firm (Candidates who studied in English speaking countries will be a preference) or ACCA, CPA qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Tax Law in a big four or a multinational company (candidates who worked in the GCC are a preference)
- Very good English and Korean skills (Writing, Speaking and reading)
- Engaging approach and flexible nature
- Ability to communicate in a professional way with the leaders & clients
- Good reporting skills, detailed focused and organized
- Respect the deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure
- Candidates already based in the Kuwait / or who have been worked, lived in the GCC before are a preference
