Business Unit Head

Job description / Role

About the role:

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Business Unit Head in Lebanon to grow the market share.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develops the current and future marketing & sales strategies of the Bio business including market access, tender management in compliance with corporate policy.
* Lead the team for customer initiatives (e.g., promotional tools, International meetings, public relations, internal communications, etc.) to maximize product sales potential.
* Identify trends, opportunities and threats for all product groups and propose corresponding measures.
* To devise long-term strategy for the Business Units product portfolio and fit of organization with market/customer requirements.
* To be responsible for setting performance management objectives based on marketing, sales and medical plans and assessment of individual performance vs. objectives and being responsible for the effective leadership, management, coaching , training need analysis and personal development.
* Manage P&L for Bio business unit head.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

* Extensive experience (5-10 years) in sales management positions within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Successful record of contribution and/or P&L responsibility.
* Good understanding of country, regional and local dynamics, including regulatory and market environment.
* Understanding of product launch and product commercialization processes.
