This position offers a unique opportunity for either an experienced Dietitian or a General Practitioner (GP) with a keen interest in health coaching. As a Health Coach, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and empowering individuals to achieve their wellness goals through personalized coaching sessions and informative article writing.

This is a REMOTE position.

Description

Health Coaching:

* Provides lifestyle, supplements and preventive health recommendations to clients based on Valeo health tests.
* Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with clients to assess their health needs, set goals, and develop personalized wellness plans.
* Empower and motivate clients to make sustainable lifestyle changes through supportive coaching techniques.
* Provide guidance and education on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other wellness-related topics.

Health & Wellbeing Content Writing:

* Create well-researched and engaging articles on various health and wellness topics, catering to the target audience.
* Produce informative content that offers practical tips, evidence-based recommendations, and actionable steps to improve overall well-being.
* Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and developments in the health and wellness industry.
* Adapt writing style and tone to suit different platforms, including our website, blog, social media channels, and newsletters.
* Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies and align articles with the company's brand and objectives.

Client Support and Communication:

* Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients via email, phone, or virtual platforms between coaching sessions.
* Respond promptly to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing relevant information.
* Foster a strong client-coach relationship built on trust, empathy, and professionalism.
* Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress, goals, and session notes.

Requirements

For Dietitian Applicants:

* A degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
* At least 5 years experience in providing dietary counselling and personalized nutrition plans.
* Strong knowledge of nutritional principles, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into easily understandable terms.
* Demonstrated ability to motivate and support clients in achieving their health goals.

For GP Applicants:

* A medical degree and relevant experience as a General Practitioner.
* Strong interest and understanding of nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and preventive care.
* Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines for healthy living and chronic disease management.
* Effective communication skills to guide and educate patients on lifestyle modifications.
* Willingness to undergo health coaching training or certification, if not already acquired.
