Stock Controller Officer

Job description / Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Stock Controller Officer to manage and oversee the stock control process. The Stock Controller Officer will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the product inventory. You will also be responsible for ensuring stock accuracy and effectively maintaining stock levels.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and stock movement.
• Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained to meet customer and company needs.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability is adequate at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and create reports to identify any discrepancies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve stock control processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Analyze stock data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and take action to resolve them.
• Monitor inventory costs and ensure they are within budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Adhere to all company health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in stock control or a related field.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Knowledge of inventory management software and databases.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and move stock when needed.
