Project Director - Airport Construction

Job description / Role

My client a leading tier 1 international contractor has an urgent opening for a Project Director on the expansion of an international Airport in Libya.

The post has been designated for single status only and secure compound accommodation will be provided.

Education and Experience:

* Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
* Over 20 years intensive experience in construction works,
* At least 5 -10 years' experience at senior management level on a large airport project.
* Excellent communication and client facing skills.
* Familiar with modern construction codes for large international airports.
* Successful track record delivering high value projects (US$500m - US$1bn)
* Experience running multinational delivery teams.
* Very commercial and contractually aware to ensure delivery of project in budget.
* Must be program driven to ensure timely delivery of project.
* Must have very high standards in Health, Safety and Quality.
