Catering Solution Planner - Macedonia

The Catering Solution Planner role is a newly created role, based in Macedonia, in our proposal solution center. This is an opportunity to work with an experienced team of bid professionals developing Catering Solution Plans and providing technical calculations supporting RFP responses. The role is a varied one and will cover a broad range of areas; from analysis of RFP's, through identifying ingredients, creating menus and food preparation plans to equipment, material and manpower requirements. You will be the lead in providing technical descriptions, brochures, and presentations to enable the implementation of new techniques, products and operational concepts.

Your key responsibilities include;
• Providing technical support, with sales and business development, in client meetings and discussions
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in contracts and additional catering services
• Cost estimations to determine financial viability
• Assessing new business and partnering opportunities
• Critically examining processes and technologies to determine technical and financial viability
• Customization of technical presentations for specialist or turnkey solutions for clients
• Technical site visits to client sites recommending potential catering techniques and methodologies for their operations
• Proposal plan development including timelines, templates and checklists

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in catering service operations with a deep understanding of catering best practices and ideally 5+ years’ experience in Catering Solution Planning.

In addition, you should have;
• sound analytical thinking and a systematic approach to dealing with demanding situations in order to exercise sound judgment;
• Strong communications skills presentation and report writing -in English.
• The ability to travel frequently, including to remote and/or crisis areas
