The opportunity

Project: This is a 5-star island development comprising luxury beach and water villas. Mace is providing project management in all facets of the project activities to deliver the project to meet cost, time and quality requirements.

This role will be working on a rotation basis of 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

Mace is looking for a full-time senior Landscape Project Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating the inputs of project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
• Coordinating the project design and execution between engineering, architectural and civil/structural and landscape disciplines.
• Initiating and managing project landscape designs to meet the budget.
• Applying quality management principles and processes.
• Applying risk assessment and management principles and processes.
• Providing strategic planning advice in relation to the requirements for phasing of the works, the sequence of works and the necessary authority approval processes.
• Managing the design and quantity surveying teams to prepare the appropriate tender documentation for the project trade contracts.
• Providing technical input for offer requests and the awarding of all landscaping contracts.
• Managing the tender assessment, negotiation and award of landscaping project contracts in conjunction with the senior project manager.
• Managing and resolving site planning and coordination issues.
• Managing technical coordination meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
• Managing the project site works in accordance with the approved master programme.
• Managing the implementation of site-based inspection, test and approval protocols to ensure that the works are completed in accordance with the design, specification and quality requirements.
• Overseeing the management of the landscape contractors and technical consultants to complete the testing and commissioning of services/infrastructure including the conclusion of defects/non-conformances and the preparation and submission of operation and maintenance manuals.

• We envisage you will bring experience from a consultancy background having worked on high-end luxury hotels and be comfortable working on a rotational basis.
