Assistant Manager - DIY

Job description / Role

- Assisting in developing and implementing plans and objectives for the store and company
- Responsible for daily activities of the store and ensures the shop runs smoothly.
- Responsible for the general outfit of the store: aisles and shelves are clean and clear.
- Product management: availability, pricing, labelling, facing and cleanliness.
- Performing stock audits regarding damaged and stolen goods and Standard Operations Procedures (SOP), Loss and -Prevention Policy.
- Actively monitors customer satisfaction and feedback systems to drive continuous improvement.

Salary:
AED 7,400 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- At least 2 years + of experience within Department, Deputy, Assistant or Supervisor role.
- Ideally have experience in DIY/Hardware or other retail backgrounds would be considered.
- Leadership skills- able to lead a team and motivate a team to reach targets.
- Strong sales skills and techniques, including the ability to upsell.
