Finance Manager

Company: A leading retail pharma company.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in overseeing financial activities within the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data, key performance indicators, and trends to provide insights into business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for budgeting and forecasting.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic financial goals.
- Monitor budget variances and provide timely and accurate explanations for any discrepancies.
- Prepare financial forecasts and present insights to support decision-making.

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports, highlighting any issues or discrepancies.
- Present financial results to executive management, providing actionable recommendations.

Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring adequate funds are available for operational needs.
- Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize working capital and mitigate financial risks.

Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate exposure.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions that may impact the financial health of the company.

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry standards.
- Prepare and submit required financial reports to regulatory authorities.

Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance on career development and skill enhancement for team members.

Salary:
AED 8,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, with a focus on the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis using tools such as Excel.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience, including the ability to lead and develop a team.
