Financial Director role reporting into the CEO of an Africa focused power company.

Missions

Based in Casablanca with the responsibility for the day to day accounting and tax-related operations of the Moroccan company, as well as the UK company and Africa project companies. You will be responsible for producing periodic financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes on a corporate and project basis, tax structuring, maintaining a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the reporting process, ensuring financial information complies with IFRS or/and US-GAAP.

Requirements

- Qualified accountant (CPA or CA) with 10 years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience of managing large projects in the energy, civil construction or other related industries.
- Experience in project finance and leading a finance team with a strong understanding/experience of private equity and cross border tax structures.
- Strong knowledge of both IFRS and US GAAP.
- Bilingual in French and English.
