Job description / Role
Purpose:
- To collect and verify administrative data, to support accounting treatment of pertinent transactions, to support the preparation of the budget.
- To apply accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- To do accounting system maintenance.
- To support the management in preparation of report involving analysis of data.
- To ensure invoices payment validation.
- To do general accounting.
- To support for tax matter to tax unit.
- To do personnel accounting (salaries posting, expense reports, med expenses, expatriates insurances and social contributions).
- To do internal costs allocations.
- To do time-sheet posting.
- To do capitalization.
- To do JC maintenance.
- To do chart of accounts
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree and 3 years of experience by speciality
Required Competencies:
- Preferably experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA or equivalent.
- Good understanding of information technology and computer applications, accounting systems, processes and accounting controls.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and current knowledge of financial reporting requirements.
