Commissioning HSE Manager / LOTO In-Charge
Oman
Up to $7,000 per month
Contract is due to finish on 31st December
The Project
* A greenfield CCGT power plant.
* This position is working for the EPC Contractor.
The Responsibilities
* Report to the Site HSE Manager.
* Act as the Senior Authorized Person on-site.
* Ensure the working areas are safe by turning off the electrical systems.
* Fully manage the Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) system.
* Be the designated key holder for all the working areas on-site.
* The working hours are 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Saturday to Thursday. There is a 2 hour lunch break.
Salary:
USD
6,000 to 7,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
The Candidate
* Recognised HSE background on large EPC projects.
* Strong and proven experience in managing the PTW and LOTO systems on large EPC projects.
* Previous experience on power generation projects.
* Previous experience in working for an EPC contractor is essential.
* Middle East experience is a distinct advantage.
The Benefits

* This is a bachelor status assignment. VISA and Medical Insurance are provided by the employer.
* As per Oman Labour Law you are entitled to 30 days paid holiday per year plus public holidays, after completion of 6 month probation period.
Please note for this position you will be required to get a local employment VISA and open a local bank account. Once you have a VISA the bank account can be opened within one day. Europeans can get a local Oman driving license straight away as well in Oman.
