Job description / Role
Corporate Analyst Officer – Salalah Branch, Islamic Banking
•Maintenance of lending portfolio aimed at quality customer service and maximizing contribution to Maisarah profitability.
•Analyzing financial statements, business processes of customers and preparing credit proposals as per standards defined by Maisarah Islamic Banking.
•Recommend facilities / excesses to the appropriate authority /Management as per authority matrix for approval through defined channels.
•Preparing offer letters to the customer as per standards defined by bank.
•Ensuring timely completion of documentation and other formalities by the customers for securing the interest of the bank.
•Setting up of limits / Interest rates / codes in the system correctly.
•Handles referrals from TFD/Branch and Cheque referrals and attends them in effective manner.
•Coordination with other departments (CAD/TFD/Branch) for smooth operations in the accounts as per approved terms and conditions.
•Renewals / Quarterly Reviews / Risk Ratings to be ensured in timely manner.
•Ensures timely and accurate submission of MIS and follow-up reports and returns for the Management review and reports for regulatory agencies as required.
•Ensures timely recovery of scheduled recoveries in the accounts on the due dates.
•Responsible for quality of assets in the portfolio. Follow up for regularisation and recovery of sticky/special mention/classified accounts in the portfolio.
•Attends to LRM / Audit replies in accurate and timely manner.
•Handles the customer calls / queries including redressal of issues, in absence of ARM effectively.
•Customers file maintenance for the portfolio.
Requirements:
•Oman National required
• A candidate should be a Degree holder with minimum four years work experience in relationship management and financial analysis.
•Should be able to analyse financial statements, business processes of customers and preparing credit proposals as per standards defined by Maisarah Islamic Banking.
•Required to maintain lending portfolio, aimed at quality customer service and maximising contribution to Maisarah profitability.
•Should be a team player and solution oriented.
•Should possess Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
•Should be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
•Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
