Job description / Role
You will be an integral part of Global Institutional and Investment Banking Division, part of the Institutional Placements & Relationships Team that spans across Investment Banking, Asset Management and FI. You will ensure the implementation of the Marketing Strategy for the Business by enhancing the existing Business Relationships and developing new relationships with Clients.
You will propose Transactions for each of the Business Groups – Debt Finance, Equity, Proprietary Book, Funds and FIG; and Distribute and Place the Bank’s Equity, Debt and Fund Offerings. Working closely with Head Office Teams to ensure that other Banking Products and Services are offered to the Clients. Own the Clients Relationship and ensure effective Placements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 – 8 Years Corporate & Investment Banking experience. Strong Investment Banking Placement experience, Relationship Management and Sales & Marketing experience. The preference is more towards an Investment Placement individual targeting Institutional Investors. GCC Client contacts preferred.
- Post Graduate qualification in Finance and or Professional Certification (ACCA / CFA)
- Strong understanding of Financial Markets and in particular Equity, Debt and Capital Market Products (Investment Banking, Asset Management and Financial Institutions Products and Services).
- Ability to develop business with Local, Regional and International Clients
- Ability to Manage Teams and obtain results
- Strong understanding of Investor and Lender decision processes
- Good Interpersonal and Business Networking skills
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication, and Presentation skills
- Ability to work long hours and under pressure
