Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Monitor and manage daily cash flows to optimize funds utilization.
• Implement effective treasury and cash management strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast funding requirements and ensure financial stability.
• Assess the creditworthiness of customers and establish credit limits.
• Monitor and analyze customer credit profiles to identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate credit terms and conditions for new and existing customers.
• Manage collections, negotiate payment terms, and resolve outstanding issues.
• Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions.
• Oversee banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
• Execute necessary financial arrangements and compliance with banking regulations.
• Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory turnover and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reports in accordance with accounting principles.
• Conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance against budgetary goals.
• Present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure responsible and efficient credit granting.
• Oversee the Letter of Credit process from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure compliance with LC terms and conditions.
• Review and verify LC documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to international trade regulations.
• Communicate with banks and financial institutions to facilitate smooth LC transactions.
• Resolve discrepancies in LC documents and coordinate with relevant parties for timely resolutions.
• Regularly review and update product costing models.
• Oversee inter company transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline cross-functional financial processes.
• Consolidation of financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Coordination with insurance provider for timely settlement of claims.
• Petty Cash Management
• Taxation, VAT and Corp tax
• Execute annual physical fixed asset count.
• Document controller for various agreements/legal/financial.
• Inter division reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CA/MBA/CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in a trading company.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
