Job description / Role
Principal Accountabilities:
- In coordination with the FSE Superintendent and work center supervisors, performs record keeping, report preparation and duties related to the operation of required CMMS, DPAS, AFIS, Maximo and the DVR.
- Formulates procedures to facilitate scheduling of work according to priority set for the by Site Manager, Program Operations, AFCENT and taskings.
- Responsible for updating maintenance schedules and preparing status reports and other prescribed documentation as directed.
- Initiates and submits an annual and monthly schedule for scheduled maintenance to be performed on all USAF FSE assets.
- Receives, processes and schedules all WRM FSE assets for maintenance and shipment.
- Maintains historical data, equipment records, technical orders and related publications for all assets.
- Implements the precepts of quality assurance within the guidelines set forth in ISO 9001 program.
- Ensures that all work is completed to this quality standard and provides subordinates feedback on their progress.
- Prepares and submits Quality/Material Deficiency reports and receives, reviews, consolidates and submits all other required reports to the FSE Superintendent in a timely manner. Responds to requests from the USAF/Amentum and other authorized officials for relative documentation on production efforts.
- Actively involved in the USAF/Amentum Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) program and responds to environmental issues as required.
- Performs TDY within the Area of Operation (AOR), as required, for USAF/Amentum taskings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must have outstanding customer service and organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an advanced level.
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
- Knowledge of the USAF maintenance management system, to include AFIS and DPAS preferred.
- Knowledge of USAF Supply system and material deficiency reporting is desirable.
- Capacity to work effectively with diverse workforce encompassing different cultural backgrounds.
- Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
Experience & Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years work in a vehicle maintenance control atmosphere preferred.
- Successful completion of USAF DPAS course desired.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
- Works in maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
- May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
- Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
- Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performing extensive work handling/lifting equipment.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
