Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Salalah, Oman. The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Omani labor laws and regulations, and be able to effectively support the HR needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Administer performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Support the implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Maintain and update HR records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor laws.
- Handle employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and practices to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives from an HR perspective.

Salary:
OMR 500 to 700 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role, preferably in Oman or the GCC region.
- In-depth knowledge of Omani labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office, with the ability to generate and analyze reports and data.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.
