HSE Manager - Construction/Real Estate

Job description / Role

Opportunity to join a real estate developer in Oman working on the construction and management of a large luxury mixed use development. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coaching, specialist advice and practical support on all HSE matters to the technical and project management team.

Other duties include:
Providing training, keeping up to date with HSE legislation/ISO9001/review submissions by contractors/consultants, Identify and supervise HSE issues related to construction activities, lead investigation in to any accidents, site visits to conduct HSE surveys.

Requirements

• A degree in Engineering
• Arabic language skills
• A track record of working for a developer or consultant managing HSE for a large project
• HSE Certificate such as NEBOSH
• Qualified in First Aid and Basic Trauma Management, FPOS preferable
• 5-10 years of experience
• Proven experience in technical and engineering projects
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
• Experience in the training and management of multinational personnel
