Imports Coordinator

Job description / Role

• Should have basic understanding of procurement process starting from the Purchase order until the goods reach warehouse.
• Prepare landed cost working with different combinations to bring the goods at the cheapest expenses.
• Negotiate with the suppliers and have foreign trade banking knowledge
• Always be organized in his work, update all the reports and updates of all the shipments in Excel - readily available for the reference at any point of time.
• Must work closely with the Sales team to assess the progress of the department to understand the market situation and support them in all possible ways.
• Telephonic and e mail communication with overseas suppliers
• Identification of the right product and the supplier based on the customer requirements.
• Should have the basic skills in negotiating the deals with the supplier.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Automobile engineering (or)
• Bachelor of Business Administration (or)
• Bachelor of Physics.
• Experience in Procurement / Supply chain management for at least 3 years in a machinery trading company.
• Minimum two years of experience in any GCC countries.
• Schooling to be in English medium with at least 60% percentage in the final year of school.
• Age: 23- 33, Height and Weight should be proportional.
