Job description / Role

Simultaneous Interpretation
Providing simultaneous interpretation during projects when required

Consecutive Interpretation
Providing consecutive interpretation during projects when required

Event related tasks
Translations related to projects, managing equipment during projects (i.e. switching on/off, replacing batteries, collecting receivers & headphone, charging receivers).

Translations
The interpreter can be expected to provide translation

Simultaneous & consecutive interpretation
- In depth knowledge and understanding of work languages (Arabic & English)

- Articulate speaker
- Note-taking skills to ensure accuracy
- Mentally transpose and able to verbalize into the target language

Educational and Experience Requirements

The Candidate requires the following qualifications;
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation (Arabic/English)
- Master’s degree in Interpretation (Arabic/English)
- At least 50 days of active simultaneous interpretation experience
