Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We seek the services of a Learning & Development Specialist on a short-term assignment of 6 months. Your services will be required to support our client in providing comprehensive organizational employee learning and development strategies and plans that will enhance knowledge, skills, and performance of the employees and the organization linking these to our client's five year strategy. You will also be responsible for all aspects of design, development and implementation of L & D projects related to learning & development, performance management, associate/leadership development and career path development.

You will be expected to carry out the following.

• Study, review and unleash market needs for professional training
• Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies, agencies and providers to deliver required training to appropriate standards. And assess relevant training needs for organisation.
• Create and Develop Generic Competence and Assurance (standards & records)
• Create and Develop and the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Processes and Guidelines
• Creating and develop business opportunities in the areas of Leadership Development
• Create and Develop Assessment centre facility and identify and develop, and manage a pool of local Assessors
• Monitor and report on activities, costs, performance, ROI etc. as required.
• Develop and deliver and Advisory role on matters related to people development
• Create and develop Coaching and Mentoring Facilities
• Create and develop Business Facilitation including counselling
• Develop self, and maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times.
• Create quarterly reports on trends and challenges addressing the local & regional current and future market.
• Create and Develop Training and Development Performance Indicators
• Coordinate with external parties in related matters of People development, Regional & International universities, organisations, Professional Societies & Bodies etc.
• Enhance the existing OLM system and ensure its updated and utilised for all L & D plans with latest practices.
• Maintain all the record and make sure all the files up to date.
• Develop dashboard to reflect the performance of L&D.

Requirements

• University graduate in related discipline with 10+ years’ experience in people development
• CIPD is preferable.
• Oracle OLM and PMS experience.
• Certified in competency development and designing.
• Knowledge in Developing people and ability to conceptualize Competence Development System from concept to implementation and identifying people’s skills gaps
