Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP) is an upstream Oil & Gas company based in the Sultanate of Oman.

Initially having operated as a division of Oman Oil Company SAOC (OOC), OOCEP is now a subsidiary of OOC following the Company's incorporation as a separate legal entity in 2009. OOCEP has numerous assets and diversified interests in Oil & Gas exploration and production both inside and outside of Oman.

Reporting to the Project Manager this key role will be based in Muscat - Sultanate of Oman with expected trips to the field in Oman, Abu Dhabi, & Musandam (Oman).

Job Responsibilities & Activities

This role will manage a major Oil & Gas Off-shore pipeline project currently underway here in The Sultanate of Oman.

The incumbent will require an extensive project management background in pipeline EPC with experience in managing EPC contractors for offshore pipeline & riser installations.

The project and position includes;

• Platform topside modifications including facilities, design & installation.
• Managing pipeline inspectors
• Managing and developing staff

The successful applicant will also be expected to perform business activities in managing contractors, tender bids & evaluations, manage staff and be the primary technical authority of USD $Multi-Million projects.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements of Education, Experience, Skills

• Minimum of 10 years experience required in Oil & Gas Pipeline construction projects with a further of 5 years as Pipeline Manager for major projects.
• Minimum qualifications required for the role is a degree in engineering
• Solid understanding of Pipeline construction
• Experience in both on-shore & off- shore
• Shore crossing experience.
• Gas Plant tie-in’s.
• Emphasis on Greenfield projects
• Staff management experience (knowledge transfer)
• Excellent communications skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be able to travel when required.

Experience life in Muscat Sultanate of Oman in a senior key role to deliver major Oil & Gas projects with OOCEP. We are a start up Oil & Gas Operator in a greenfield project environment.
