WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff are looking for a someone lead the design management process through the various stages of design and into construction on a signature mixed use development in Oman.
The key objectives of the role are;
• Responsible for design management through the various stages of design and the transition to construction
• Coordinating the input of multiple design parties and ensuring the output meets with the clients expectation
• Have an eye for quality and can take a holistic approach to design management considering multifaceted stakeholder requirements
• Ensure that the project design deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
• Drive programme and understand the dependencies between design, procurement and construction when delivering large scale fast track projects in a diverse environment
• Maintain and develop a growing relationship with the client based on excellent operational delivery
Requirements
How will know when you are successful in this role?
• The project moves seamlessly through the design stage gateways because we have eliminated any surprises during the course of the delivery and the iterative review process
• The level of RFIs from contractors during the procurement and delivery process are either limited or simple to respond to
In order to be shortlisted for the role you will have the following;-
• Chartered / Professional Engineer
• Member of Professional Institution
• Degree in Engineering
• 15+ years project design management experience on large mixed use development projects in the Middle East
• Worked for both consultants and contractors
• Excellent communication skills
