Employment: Full Time

Policy and Reward Expert - Human Resources - Admin (Reporting to EVP- HR)

Policy and Procedures
- Responsible for developing, updating and publishing Corporate HR, Administration and Training policies and procedures for all Oman Air network stations in consultation with key stakeholders business plan and strategies.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are published for all network stations and the same compiles with local legislations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures, initiate enhancements as identified.
- Serve as focal point n the department to ensure continuity, proper integration and implementation of new or revised polices or procedures.
- Act as a resource for Channel Strategy and Support Management for addressing queries related to policies and procedures.
- Lead the review and discussion of proposed policy change recommended by any department.
- Ensure all relevant applicable manuals are published electronically.

Re-engineering and Process Mapping.
- Provide specific Management advise on Process Mapping into HR systems
- Continue improving the programs, policies, practices and process associated with meeting he strategic and operational people issues of the organization.
- Perform periodic cost and productivity analysis to ensure optimal productivity and return on investments
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning of new programme - strategies and regulatory actions as those terms impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resource of the CPmapny.
- Assist EVP-HR on the development of business process improvement - lean systems interventions including the scoping, design, leadership and roles to ensure that they are cost effectively delivered.

Compliance
- Periodically conduct HR audits to ensure appropriate corrective actions are initiated on non-compliance areas.
- Monitors compliance and ensures all Audit Queries (Internal - External) are addressed and remedial action is initiated.

Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
- Design, develop and implement grading and salary structure for Oman Air across the network
- Recommend fitment options and costing for any new structure developed and obtain stake holder’s approval.
- Conduct detailed market research to gathers suitable information on best practice compensations and benefits trends to ensure timely modification of company’s compensations and benefits policies and strategies.
- Advise on payroll outsourcing startegey for outstations.

Talent Acquisition
- Manage the recruitment of key Senior Management personnel and also to recommend retention strategies.

Performance Management
- Advise Senior Management on the Corporate and Department KPIs (Balance Score card)
- Assist EVP-HR in leading performance improvement across the Company including SBU’s and proactively assist managers of underperforming areas to develop strategies to raise performance.


Requirements

Bachelor degree in a related discipline preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration with 10 years of experience in Human Resources respectively preferably with a large diversified organisation of which 03 in a managerial role respectively. Master degree in the related discipline or CIPD will be advantage. Additional qualification in Labour Law will be preferable. Aviation experience is desirable and will be an advantage.
