Recruitment Officer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Recruitment Officer to join our team in Salalah, Oman. The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for attracting, screening, and selecting qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
- Source candidates through online channels, job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for the role.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments with candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage the applicant tracking system and keep all recruitment records up to date.
- Prepare and present job offers to successful candidates and negotiate employment terms.
- Participate in recruitment events and job fairs to promote the organization as an employer of choice.

Salary:
OMR 300 to 400 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer or similar role.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity in dealing with sensitive information.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
