Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Lead the one-stop-shop for centralised commercial intelligence for all commercial insights, data needs and analysis across all commercial teams.
• Provide commercial intelligence and actionable insights across the network through timely and relevant reports and dashboards that support the decision process.
• Manage commercial system tools based on modern industry applications and liaise with IT to ensure required data infrastructure is in place to improve management information, and analytical capabilities are in par with world best practices.
• Develop a set of cross-departmental KPIs to measure commercial performance and review the effectiveness of commercial, sales and marketing actions, spreading best practice.
• Co-ordinate with Finance and Planning Divisions to develop annual sales and profit targets and budgets, including all sub- targets by Region, POS, O&D & Segment (quality and quantity of revenue) to ensure performance targets are set effectively and efficiently.
• Review POS and stations performance against revenue targets, diagnose deviations and develop recommendations for corrective measures at POS and route level.
• Recommend new routes or enhancement to existing routes by identifying market opportunities and avoiding traffic imbalances to maximise revenues and optimise sales actions.
• Assist in decision making with regards to cancellation, alterations or deletion of flights on permanent or temporary basis.
• Monitor performance of airline partners to support maximisation of network revenue opportunities
• Provide necessary insights for the development of commercial strategies and programs designed to maximize revenue from all channels, creating and capitalising on new and existing revenue production opportunities.
• Develop regional intelligence and contacts to keep abreast of market trends and changes.
• Provide regular insights on competitor environment and market dynamics to develop strategies for global dealing and compensation plans for travel agents, corporate and government accounts, and to design competitive sales and pricing strategies
• Provide insights for customer focused strategy including segmentation and customer life cycle road map.
• Work closely with Finance and IT to ensure consistency of reporting, data quality and data governance across the company.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in a related discipline preferably in a quantitative, analytical field with 10 years of relevant experience respectively of which 3years in a managerial role independent heading the business intelligence department. Master Degree in a related discipline will be advantage.
