Job description / Role
Governance & Compliance:
- Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Manages day-to-day operation of the Program.
- Develops and periodically reviews and updates Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currenct and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees
- Collaborates with other departments (e.g. Internal Audit, Legal, Human Resources, etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. Consults with the Legal Department as needed to resolve difficult legal compliance issues.
- Responds to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures relating to Standards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Develops and oversees a system for uniform handling of such violations.
- Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
- Establishes and provides direction and management of the compliance-Whistle Blower Hotline and pass on the relevant information for investigation and Internal Audit, Human Resources or any other appropriate investigating body.
- Institutes and maintains an effective compliance communication program for the organization, including promoting (a) use of the Compliance-Whistle Blower Hotline; (b) heightened awareness of Standards of Conduct, and (c) understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures.
- Acts as a single point of contact to respond to all external regulatory bodies regarding all matters requiring management attention.
- Acts as a single point of contact for responding to issues raised by Internal Audit as well as Govt. Audit which need to be responded to by CEO after obtaining feedback from relevant departments, and following up on outstanding matters pertaining to the same.
- Works with the Human Resources Department and others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
Requirements
Bachelor degree either in Law / Finance / Management (certified internal Audit or chartered professional Analyst) / Chartered Accounting / Certified compliance management with 10 years of relevant experience of which 03 years in a Managerial position in a multinational organization with demonstrated leadership skills preferably within the Aviation sector.
Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resource procedures and regulations is an essential requirement Master degree in the related field will be advantage. Professional qualifications is highly preferred.
