Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A well established and reputed company in the Gulf whose core business activities are Industrial Catering, Hospitality and Facilities Management services requires a SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER for immediate employment.

The primary function of the candidate is to manage company’s various catering contracts, maintain clients satisfaction and meeting company objectives.

The candidate will also be responsible to:

1. Plan, direct and manage company catering activities in line with awarded contracts terms & conditions and related specifications.

2. Develop and monitor service delivery plan in conjunction with scope of work, other contractual obligations and ensure provision of quality services and trouble-free operations.

3. Review catering tenders and lead related costing and preparation of bid submissions that ensure award of viable contracts.

4. Ensure contractual performance in accordance with forecast budget and compliance with KPIs & SLAs.

5. Prepare adequate plan and required arrangements to ensure successful mobilization of new awarded contracts.

6. Direct catering managers daily execution of works, monitor performance and develop control measures and procedures that ensure meeting company forecast targets and objectives.

7. Approve and ensure that daily, weekly and monthly menus are in line with contract agreed specifications/standards and meeting with client expectations.

8. Maintain close & positive liaison with clients representatives and ensure that services being provided are meeting with residents satisfaction.

9. Coordinate with Central Warehouse and Supply Chain Division required material specifications and regular delivery to sites.

10. Work closely with HR with regard to staff requirement, qualifications, mandatory employment of national labour force and ensure that adequate trainings are provided as required.

11. Make regular and random visits to sites, evaluate performance and take corrective actions as required.

12. Ensure that all works are carried out in full compliance with company HSE Plan, Hygiene policies and other International Standards applicable to the industry.

Requirements

The candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from a reputed University or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years experience in Senior management position in Catering/Hospitality Industry in the Gulf and/or Middle East. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Oil & Gas sector.

• IT literate with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to speak Arabic and valid GCC driving license will be an added advantage.
