Working Conditions

1. 5/2 pattern of work, based in Sur. Ready to work night shift

2. Work involves site construction duties including both onshore & offshore.

3. Work involves travel to Contractor facilities both within and outside Oman.

Requirements

Graduate with Bachelor Engineering / Diploma or BSc from reputed institute. Graduate in Safety Engineering is an is highly desirable.

Qualifications

1. Graduate with Batchelor Engineering / Diploma or BSc from reputed institute. Graduate in Safety Engineering is an is highly desirable.

2. Minimum 12 years of experience in oil and gas industry with at least 10 years in construction & offshore projects.

3. Certified NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.

4. Experience in HSSE Management in near shore activities

5. Must have capability of handing 4 HSSE supervisors

Job skills

1. Fluent in English, written and oral.

2. Skilled in understanding marine standard. Knowledge of marine Safety critical elements.

3. Proactive attitude, Solution driven and 'can do' mentality

4. Knowledge on evaluating, scaffolding plans, lifting plans , anchor pattern , Mooring analysis.

5. Skilled in reporting and preparing presentation behaviours

6. Collaborative approach, and ability to influence without authority

7. Ability to work across international and cultural boundaries with respect.

8. Risk anticipation and mitigation planning.
