Senior Resident Engineer

Job description / Role

An international and highly reputable consultancy in Oman has an immediate requirement for a Senior Resident Engineer to work on a complex hotel project in Oman.

The successful candidate will report into the Regional Site Operations Director and be responsible for monitoring the construction progress on site. Your role will encompass but not be limited to managing the planning and resource allocation for the project, managing a multi-disciplined construction supervision team on site, attending meetings with the Client, Contractor and other Consultants, subcontract and contract administration and supervising the Contractor’s work to achieve construction in accordance with the contract documents.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you should have a degree in civil or structural engineering with 15+ years’ buildings related experience. Previous experience of working as a Resident Engineer within the Middle East ideally working on hotel projects as well as strong leadership, contract administration, coordination and client facing skills are essential.
