Overview of the role:

To contribute towards achievement of set goals and objectives through effective leadership of the assigned team, targeting different trade channel for consistent growth.

What you will do:-

Description of Accountability:
- Strategic Business Development: Lead and drive the business development function in the solar sector, identifying new opportunities, and implementing growth initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively engage with a diverse set of stakeholders, including government bodies, clients, and partners, to foster strong relationships and collaborations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of energy sector regulations in Oman and the GCC, ensuring compliance and leveraging regulatory frameworks for business advantage
- Strategic Analysis and Research: Develop a deep understanding of the energy market dynamics to provide insights and drive market access strategies. Utilize strong analytical and modelling skills for strategic business analysis, market intelligence, and research.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges effectively and implement remedial actions.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify gaps and opportunities in the market to explore potential alliances, partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Product registration & MAS (material acceptance sheet) approval process wherever it is necessary.
- Manage end to end (supply to collection of payment) process with all necessary documentation.
- Manage Debtor's within budget days (timely collection of payments)..
- Support & assist the Manager in task & team handling as well take charge of business in his/her absence

Requirements

What equips you for the role:
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in in a key position in similar industry with proven track record of successfully handling similar trade channel.
- University Degree/ Masters preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development and strategic analysis in the power/solar sector.
- Proven experience in dealing with various stakeholders.
- Work experience with technical knowledge of Energy Sector Regulations in Oman/GCC.
