Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Ensure that designated responsibilities are executed in accordance with applicable regulations and standards of Oman Air;
- Shall comply with laws, regulations and procedures of the State of work location.
- Be familiar with the laws, regulations and procedures pertinent to the performance of the duties.
- Accountable and responsible to execute quality responsibilities in accordance with Quality Assurance Operations Manual
- Accountable and responsible to execute safety responsibilities in accordance with Safety Management Systems Manual.
- Deploy available Oman Air resources to best advantage in order to satisfy passenger and operational requirements arising during each duty period.
- Ensure that service suppliers are fully briefed regarding WY requirements and that they deliver them in a timely and efficient manner so that the service handling proceeds smoothly and Oman Air Lounge customers expectations are met or exceeded.
- Control expenditure on food, beverages & other consumables in order to minimize waste and unnecessary costs while still meeting the needs of Oman Air Lounge customers.
- Identify any potential area of development with product delivery and address this with Lounge Officer and Lounge Manager and participate in the continual improvement activities.
- Respond to queries and complaints in an efficient and timely manner in order to restore passenger confidence.
- Ensure the expeditious and accurate completion of all reports & statistical data when Lounge Officer absence. This is including trends, meal wastage and recording of inwards goods. Ensure completion of daily - weekly stock control.
- Undertake various administration functions and other duties as directed from time to time by Lounge Manager or senior station officials on duty.
- In conjunction with Lounge Officer, Lounge Manager and Airport Services Manager, develop relationships with potential airlines and companies who may want to utilize the Oman Air Lounge for their customers.
- Be responsible for the running of the lounge as per Oman Air standards and procedures.
- Monitor all systems and implement all standard regulatory requirements in a consistent manner.
- Function QMR when appointed.
- Delegate tasks to subordinates and be a role model in performing leadership skill to staff.
- Assist and fulfill requirement of Oman Air network lounges under instruction from Lounge Manager.
- Assist Lounge Officer and Lounge Manager in initiating and implementing process enhancement including productivity improvement progress.
- Work as team along with the management towards development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality management system.
- Maintain the flow of operation according to the ISO standards guidelines.
- Be able to motivate, empower and maintain the harmonious work place as a team.
- Accomplish financial objective by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget and analyzing corrective actions to gin more revenue.
- Be able to train employees, maintaining the safe, secure and legal environment, developing personal growth opportunities and grooming excellence.

Requirements

- Fresh Degree holder in a related discipline
- Or Two years college with diploma in a related discipline preferably in Hotel Management or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience preferably in customer service and administration.
- Or Specialised Certificate preferably in IATA or equivalent in catering operations / food and beverage service training or allied field with Secondary school with 6 years of WY experience.
