Job description / Role
Operation
- Ensure that the hygiene standards at Food Production and areas related to catering operations, as determined by the Senior QA Manager - Officer.
- Accompany the pest control contractor during their visit.
- Ensure that the roster of cleaning staff are properly covered during their shift; to fill in the checklist and remark column.
- Monitor the personal hygiene of Catering personnel and take necessary measures in liaison with the Senior QA Manager - Officer-Hygiene. Ensure that all staff are wearing complete uniform.
- Consolidate recurring hygiene problems in various sections and submit monthly reports.
- Assist in investigation of airline complaints.
- Temperature checks.
- Assist in hygiene audit of HQ Canteen, WY Lounges or any other areas we are operating.
- Ensure that all HACCP Procedures are followed; apply corrective measures for any discrepancy noticed and keeping the records up to date.
- Any other work as instructed by Senior QA Manager - Officers.
Occasional Duties - Responsibilities
- Random checks of finger swabs.
- Assist in conducting hygiene training of Catering staff as directed by Hygiene Manager - Officer.
- Perform laboratory analysis and assist in the interpretation of results as directed by the Hygiene Officer.
- Assist in testing of chemicals, materials and equipment for hygiene and sanitation use.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline preferably in Microbiology, Food Technology or Allied field with 2 years relevant experience preferably in an Inflight Catering/ Hotel Industry in similar position.
- OR Two years College Diploma in related discipline preferably in Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Hygiene or Allied Field with 4 years of relevant work experience
