Our newest opportunity is for a Senior Project Engineer - Waste Management to join our award-winning team based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Reporting directly to a Project Manager in our award winning Sustainability and Environment Division, this role is responsible for support on Waste Management Policy and Strategy for projects across the Middle East and potentially further abroad.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Supporting the waste and environment division on all waste management consultancy projects.
- Completing waste characterization audit reports.
- Supporting the development of market assessments for waste management, PPP projects and technology assessments.
- Developing and improving designs for waste management facilities and building waste management systems.
- Supporting the wider company on design projects with waste management strategies.
- Preparing technical proposals and cost estimates for waste management tenders.
- Assisting in generating and following up on business opportunities in various locations where required by the Division.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 8 years' work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering . Knowledge of waste management principles and strategic waste management planning will be a plus.
- Experience in Consultancy or Engineering experience with waste strategy development and working for large scale infrastructure and masterplan projects.
- Experience in delivering of technical reports.
- Knowledgeable of principles and practices of research and data collection.
