Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are currently seeking for a passionate and dynamic Finance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk you will be responsible of a timely reconciliation of all daily sales transactions in order to detect any loss of revenue for the purpose of taking corrective action to maximize organizational profit & customer satisfaction in an atmosphere of teamwork and high individual moral.

What you will be doing:

- Reconciles credit card transactions processed through electronic data capture
- Ensures reconciliation of all promotion/ loyalty programs charge slips with guest departure folio.
- Monitors correct documentation of all transactions
- Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions form lock box and local deposits.
- Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
- Maintains records by microfilming invoices, debits, and credits.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers;
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
- Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.
- Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
- Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

- Organization, Accounting, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills, Financial Software, Analyzing Information, self-motivated, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Reporting Research Results, Verbal Communication, good understanding and experience in hotel operations.
