Assistant Director of Pharmacy IT

We are currently inviting applications for an Assistant Director of Pharmacy IT to join the CSSD department at Hamad Medical Corporation. You will responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all pharmacy unit activities. Duties cover personnel management and provision of pharmaceutical services in accordance with HMC policies and procedures. An in depth knowledge of pharmacy computer applications is required, with special emphasis on existing and planned products; order management, automated dispensing, CPOE, IV compounders, packagers, bar code applications and supply chain solutions. Experience with the following is preferred; Pyxis, Rowa robotic storage systems, InstyMeds automated medication dispensing system, Omnicell, DVT advisor, Alaris, and RIVA.

Requirements

- Master’s degree in Pharmacy
- 12 years of hospital experience
- 2 years managerial responsibility
- Pharmacy license
