Assistant Purchasing Manager (fixed term contract until December 2022)

What you will be doing:

- Managing purchase orders, completing and maintaining purchase orders for goods, materials, and supplies.
- Oversee vendor activities.
- Manage inventory and maintain purchase order
- Liaise with Department Heads for individual department requirements, provide them with alternatives and advise on cost effective procurement, economical order quantity and on setting the Par Stock levels for all the items.
- Follow strictly Purchasing Procedure
- Report to management on monthly basis savings achieved during the month.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- 3 years of proven experience in the in purchasing (preferably within the Middle East region)
- Strong IT skills, including being apt with Logistics software
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good data management skills
- Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
