Associate Director - Real Estate Development

A reputable Developer is seeking an Associate Director – Real Estate to join them in Qatar. You will be responsible for the management of the client real estate portfolios. Previous experience in a Real Estate Development role within the Middle East is essential having managed multibillion dollar Commercial or Residential projects.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the management of client real estate portfolios
• Increase income and capital values by space reconfiguration, refurbishment and redevelopment, and releasing
• Track real estate markets to ensure divestments are made at optimum times
• Provide due diligence information relating to the disposal of a Portfolio Property
• Review capital expenditure requirements for each Property on a periodic basis to maximize Portfolio value
• Develop an annual and divestment strategy for the Portfolio
• Advise on redevelopment potential and the leasing strategy for the Portfolio
• Maintain and grow existing relationships with clients
• Check that properties comply with all legal requirements in their host country and have adequate insurance coverage at all times
• Provide technical guidance to the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Economics, Law, Finance or Accounting.
• Qualified Chartered Surveyor or Civil Engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Real Estate Development role looking after projects of £100m+
• Middle East experience is essential
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Strong presentation skills.

• Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
